My Champion!

Today we were having flashcard drill in kindergarten, reviewing the letter sounds. I try to spice these up any way that I can, to keep the students' interest. Today I told them that they were going too fast, and that my hand was hurting trying to keep up. I'd complain as we went along; they loved it...well, most of them. Suddenly, Randi stood up and said to the others: "Slow down! Can't you see she needs a rest?!" I usually hold it in pretty well, but this time I just cracked up! I thanked Randi for her concern, and assured her that my hands were fine! What a sweetie!
