Book List

I decided to update my "What I'm Reading" list. I put some teeny "reviews" in case anyone is interested. (I know I'd like to see some of your recommendations, hint, hint :-) I just thought it might be something that some of you would enjoy. I'll probably take it down after a while, because it looks so messy.
FYI- My library keeps a list of everything that has been checked out for the last 2 yrs. It was really interesting to scroll through and see all of the stuff that I've had. I haven't read or watched everything, and lots were short, children's books, but I've checked out 783 things since July '07.

I'm kind of jealous. Seems like I have no time for fun reading these days. I spend more time on research and self help books. Lately I've been reading about homeschooling, Who wore What? (Leisch)- a book on Civil War clothing, Bringing up Boys (Dobson), The Five Love Languages of Children (Chapman and Campbell), The 10 best Decisions Every Parent Can Make (Farrel), The Sneaky Chef (Lapine), and The Parent's Guide to Play (put out by Gymboree). I have also been doing a lot of reading aloud to the boys, such stimulating titles as Yertle the Turtle, Eggs and Legs, Bats, etc... The last two fiction books I have read I would not recommend because they had controversial material and were generally disappointing, so maybe I'll try one of your reccomendations for my next try.
Love,
Krista

Hey! I like your mini reviews. lol. That's a great idea. I posted a what-I'm-reading list on mine, but no updated recommendations list yet. Sorry. :-) I'll work on one and get it to you.
