For my second attempt for the
Pear Project, I chose
Pear Bundt Cake. (Again, from
www.allrecipes.com) This recipe was much simpler than the pie. In fact, it was super easy.

*Note: Brenda Miles made seasonal
placemats as a wedding gift for Daniel & I. This is from the set I use in the spring. Aren't they fresh and pretty?! Machine washable too!

I decided to make a glaze, instead of sprinkling powdered sugar.
This was a very moist, pretty cake. I personally disliked the "pear grit" in the texture. It wasn't very sweet, which some people would prefer, but not me! I say, the sweeter the better! The glaze helped sweeten it up a bit. Maybe next time I'll use some whipped cream cheese icing. I liked this cake, but I didn't love it...
