I love parties, and hosting one for my sister/best friend and first niece... I had so much fun! I borrowed the idea for the shower from my friend Leslie. http://goodbyehousehellohome.blogspot.com/ My mom & my friend Honey helped me decorate. Carol stayed for ages afterward, helping with clean-up. Everyone brought scrumptious food, and lent me their birds. Aren't I blessed in friends?!

Each table had a "nest" centerpiece that my dad made. Pink pacifier napkin rings- love it!The pink bird stickers were a steal! $1.49 for about 50!

This cake was an absolute work of art! Amy (picture below, right) actually made the baby and bluebird! It was exquisite, and delicious!

Beautiful shower for a beautiful mommy to be! I love the name Madelyn Rose also.
And believe me and my budget or lack of one, buying baby girl clothes is sooo much fun, just ask Stacie how much fun I have:).
